Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and arht Toro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toro has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. arht Toro will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Toro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Toro tries to clinch up.
Toro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Belfort manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Toro shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Belfort defends it nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Belfort's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Belfort could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Belfort shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Toro is trying desperately to improve position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belfort tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

and Belfort counters with a right hand to the body.
Belfort shoots in and bounces Toro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Belfort's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nicolas Belfort.

Belfort looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Belfort has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Nicolas Belfort overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
