Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tero Elo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by Hostile Mass. Elo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Helsinki City Boy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elo throws a low kick, looking for Jenkins's leg but Jenkins calmly moves out of range.
Jenkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jenkins lands in his opponent's guard.
Jenkins postures up in Elo's guard and throws a big left but Elo blocks it.
Jenkins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Elo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jenkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jenkins's back!

That was a close second round but I would say that Rick Jenkins will probably get the nod.

Jenkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Elo tries to avoid it but Jenkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Elo to the ground. Elo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jenkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Elo pinned against the cage. Elo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jenkins, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
