The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chikanatsu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vandamme manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Vandamme gets tackled into the cage by Chikanatsu. Chikanatsu maintains the clinch.
Chikanatsu is trying to break the clinch but Vandamme is controlling him.
Vandamme throws an elbow but it's blocked.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Chikanatsu has eaten all the pies!

Vandamme lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chikanatsu circles away quickly and effectively.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Chikanatsu wants to free his trapped foot but Vandamme is holding on for dear life with his legs.
