The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obworth scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Silva takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Obworth shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Obworth's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Obworth throws a shot to the body.
A slow jab from Silva misses its intended target.
Obworth moves out of range as Silva throws a body kick.
Obworth staying out of range there.
Obworth ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Obworth on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Obworth. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.

Obworth tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.

and Silva counters with a low kick, right behind Obworth 's knee.
Silva bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Silva throws a hook to the side of Obworth's head but Obworth sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Silva tries to bum rush Obworth with a series of wild strikes but Obworth uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Obworth tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jacob Obworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Silva's jab looks to have found its range, popping Obworth under the eye.

Silva lands a nice looking kick to the body. Obworth takes a step back to recover.

Obworth blocks a low kick nicely.
Silva tries to land a front kick but Obworth steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Obworth falls off balance throwing a combination
and Silva counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Obworth is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Obworth's calf.
Obworth is looking to wear down Silva with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A slapping leg kick lands for Silva.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Obworths jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Jacob Obworth has been cut.
Obworth gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
