PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ondra The Hammerfist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair OShea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). OShea has chosen The Kings as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Hammerfist throws a hook but OShea avoids it easily.
Ondra The Hammerfist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OShea shoots in looking for a takedown. The Hammerfist tries to sprawl out of it but OShea keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Hammerfist manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
OShea avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
OShea shoots for a takedown but The Hammerfist saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The Hammerfist changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. OShea looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
OShea gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
OShea wants to sweep but The Hammerfist has passed to side control!
The Hammerfist throws an elbow but OShea slips to the side and avoids it well.

OShea is looking for a sweep.
The Hammerfist misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
OShea takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

The Hammerfist throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and OShea connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
OShea swats away the attempt to clinch by The Hammerfist.
OShea avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Hammerfist tries to clinch but OShea is having none of it.
The Hammerfist tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but OShea paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The Hammerfist is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by OShea.

The Hammerfist throws a body punch but OShea moves out of range.
OShea swats away the attempt to clinch by The Hammerfist.

The fighters circling - The Hammerfist throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The Hammerfist is looking to clinch but OShea is avoiding it.
OShea seems to have recovered his senses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
OShea misses with a strike from the bottom.

The Hammerfist decides to stand back up. The Hammerfist steps back and let's OShea get back to his feet.

The Hammerfist connects with a stiff jab that staggers OShea - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
