Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Instant Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Instant Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick Ross!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter catches Ross with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Instant Fighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Ross counters with a straight right hand.
Fighter closes the distance but Ross moves to the side
and Fighter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ross takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ross throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ross fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fighter manages to avoid it.
Fighter checks a leg kick nicely.
Ross throws a head kick but Fighter moves out of range.

Fighter throws the kick towards the body but Ross avoids it.
Fighter lands with an overhand left.
Fighter scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Ross tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fighter was well out of range. Poor timing from Ross.
Fighter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ross's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fighter under the eye.

Ross throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Instant Fighter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Ross counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Fighter has hold of Ross's hands but Ross slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Ross is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fighter defends it well.

Ross thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fighter's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ross accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Ross counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fighter won't be happy with that.
Ross misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Fighter is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ross shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fighter pinned against the cage. Fighter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fighter thows a body shot but no joy.
Fighter drops his hands momentarily and Ross takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fighter feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ross's calf.
Fighter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ross shoots in looking for a takedown. Fighter tries to sprawl out of it but Ross keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fighter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well Ross has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
