Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erivelton Imperador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Ivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miguel Ivan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivan with a poor takedown
and Imperador counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ivan's guard now.
Ivan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Imperador thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Imperador drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Imperador jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ivan pushes Imperador off and scrambles back to his feet.
Imperador closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ivan quickly recovers to half guard.
Imperador is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ivan defends it well.
Ivan manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Ivan wants to stand and escape but Imperador is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ivan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Imperador off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Nice sprawl there from Ivan as Imperador shoots in.

Ivan tries for a takedown but Imperador circles away easily
and Imperador counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ivan won't be happy with that.
Erivelton Imperador has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Ivan.

Imperador is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ivan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Imperador working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Imperador thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Imperador is trying to get an arm triangle but Ivan is defending well.
Ivan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Imperador. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ivan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
