The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Killsbrough closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Trenedad is looking to improve his position.

Well, if Killsbrough is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Killsbrough seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Trenedad tries to close the distance and clinch but Killsbrough swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Trenedad is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Killsbrough.

Killsbrough misses with a takedown attempt - Trenedad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Killsbrough shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Trenedad throws a series of punches but Killsbrough avoids them all with ease.
Killsbrough throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Trenedad was covering up waiting for the punch and Killsbrough finishes the takedown easily into guard.
