Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Nappa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nappa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: battery. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage looks to score with a jab to the body but Nappa is just out of range.
Rage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rage dodges the punch combination from Nappa.
A jab from Rage does it's job there.

It looks like Dirk Nappa has been cut.
Rage misses with a combination
and Nappa counters with a left to the body.
No joy there for Nappa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rage throws a series of punches but Nappa moves out of range.
Nappa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rage. Nappa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nappa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rage sprawls well. Rage wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nappa gets slowly back to his feet.
Gunner Rage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dirk Nappa.
Rage cracks Nappa with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Rage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nappa manages to avoid it.
Nappa works the jab nicely.
Rage bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rage enables Nappa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rage manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nappa wants to control from the top but Rage keeps moving.

Nappa has control of Rage's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rage regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Nappa cracks Rage with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rage takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Nappa looking to control but Rage is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Oh Rage is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nappa postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Rage bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Nappa and the fight is over!
