The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Baggs. Those never looked like landing.
Baggs misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Turner.

Baggs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baggs wants it to stay on the feet.

Turner shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Turner ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Turner no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Turner is on top in guard.

Turner gets to his feet. Baggs looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Turner wants the takedown. Baggs is fighting it off but Turner persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Baggs's guard against the ropes.

Turner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Horrible takedown by Turner or perhaps it was just good defense by Baggs which made him look bad.

Baggs lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Turner circles away quickly and effectively.

Turner goes for a takedown in the clinch but Baggs prevents it.
Turner drops down looking for an ankle pick but Baggs pulls his leg out and moves away.

Turner moves into range and clinches up with Baggs.

Turner tightens his grip and picks Baggs up, before dumping him to the ground. Baggs manages to land in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ike Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Turner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baggs tries to avoid it but Turner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baggs to the ground. Baggs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Baggs throws a nice looking combination but Turner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Frodo Baggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turner is working for takedown but Baggs is calmly controlling the position for now.

Baggs is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Turner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Turner has escaped and now he's on top!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Turner connects with a couple of short punches.

Baggs had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Turner defends it easily.

Turner gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Turner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Turner is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Baggs gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Turner lands a shot to the body.
Baggs tries to pull guard but Turner won't allow it.
A short body shot lands from Turner as the two fighters clinch.
Baggs is pressed up against the ropes. Turner has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Baggs down to the mat. Baggs avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Turner holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Turner gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like Frodo Baggs has been cut.

Turner jumps guard and drags Baggs to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Turner has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Baggs off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Turner tries a head kick but it misses.

Turner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Turner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Baggs throws an overhand right that lands on Turner's shoulder, as Turner tries to avoid the shot.
Turner dives in and grabs Baggs's left leg, looking for a takedown. Baggs pushes down on Turner's head and hops out.
Ike Turner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Baggs falls off balance throwing a combination

and Turner moves into the clinch.
