Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juiel Derkenzoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brus Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Knockin' on heaven's door. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Derkenzoes's half guard.
Derkenzoes tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Li wants to stand up but Derkenzoes has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Li sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Derkenzoes's guard.
Derkenzoes is looking for a sweep. Li is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Li looks to land a strike but Derkenzoes avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Li is looking for a triangle but Derkenzoes pushes his legs off easily.

You get the feeling that Derkenzoes really doesn't like being in this position too much.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Li is stalling here. Derkenzoes is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Li seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Derkenzoes has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
