Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naomasa Yi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yi throws an off balance right hand

and Long counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Yi is pressing down on Long's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Long looking to sit in guard and control but Yi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Long working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Yi.

Yi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Yi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Long can't keep his opponent in guard - Yi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Yi is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Long!

Long is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Yi controlling the position easily from mount.
Yi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Long looks a forlorn figure.
Yi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Yi is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Yi extends the arm and Long is forced to tap!
