Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corey Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horhe Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Corey Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Horhe Mendez!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez shoots and misses
letting Taylor counter with a right hand.
Mendez misses with a takedown
enabling Taylor to counter with a crisp jab.
Taylor scores with a jab.
Mendez takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mendez doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Taylor counters with a left and a right that stings Mendez.
Corey Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Horhe Mendez.
Taylor clobbers Mendez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Taylor turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mendez misses with a takedown attempt
and Taylor counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mendez looks gassed!
Taylor bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Taylor lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Taylor works Mendez's body with a nice hook.
Mendez is trying desperately to land a takedown but Taylor is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mendez.
Taylor cracks a nice hook into Mendez's ribs.
Taylor slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Taylor takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mendez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Taylor scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Taylor swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mendez.
Mendez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Taylor's corner calls for a 1-2. Taylor obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mendez is still on wobbly legs! Can Taylor finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mendez seems to have recovered his senses.
Taylor scores with a hook to the body. Mendez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Taylor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Taylor feints a jab promting Mendez to slip. Taylor then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mendez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Taylor shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mendez eats them both and turns towards Taylor to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Taylor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mendez has time to react.

Taylor stalks Mendez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mendez's face. Mendez staggers backwards, shaken.
Taylor jabs Mendez to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Taylor is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Mendez takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Taylor throws a series of strikes that have Mendez backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Taylor is pawing at Mendez, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Mendez's nose. Mendez is badly hurt! Taylor pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Mendez tries desperately to hold on but Taylor is relentless in his assault! As Mendez receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Taylor away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corey Taylor!
