Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Rolston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny The Nanny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Rolston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manny The Nanny!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Nanny misses with a wild body shot.
The Nanny throws the left hand but Rolston avoids the punch easily.

The Nanny moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The Nanny is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rolston.
The Nanny throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rolston lands with a thumping leg kick.

Rolston moves into range and clinches up with The Nanny.
The Nanny avoiding damage as Rolston throws knees to the body.
Rolston is pressed up against the cage. The Nanny has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rolston down to the mat. Rolston avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
The Nanny takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick misses from Rolston.
The Nanny stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The Nanny looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Rolston has The Nanny up against the cage in a clinch.

Rolston wants to control but The Nanny is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The Nanny prevents Rolston from improving his position.
The Nanny slips a nice elbow through Rolston's hands, connecting with Rolston's forehead.
The Nanny is trying to control the action in half guard but Rolston is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The Nanny has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rolston is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Nanny thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rolston's head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Manny The Nanny dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rolston throws a solid leg kick but The Nanny takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rolston.
Sloppy strikes from The Nanny. Those never looked like landing.

The Nanny rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rolston moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The Nanny shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rolston as he avoids it easily.

The Nanny is looking to stall here but Rolston recovers full guard.

Rolston is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The Nanny seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rolston fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Nanny manages to avoid it.

The Nanny fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rolston sprawls well initially but The Nanny persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Rolston is looking to control The Nanny's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rolston avoid being mounted?
The Nanny thows a huge punch but Rolston dodges it nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that James Rolston will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Rolston feints and then cracks The Nanny's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Nanny down.

Rolston lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

The fighters circle momentarily. Rolston darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The Nanny chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rolston can pounce on him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The Nanny throws a hook to the side of Rolston's head but Rolston sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rolston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The Nanny moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rolston tries to clinch but The Nanny is having none of it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Rolston.
Rolston scoring well with a low kick there.
Rolston tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. The Nanny manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! The Nanny crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rolston - the referee stops the clock and The Nanny gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rolston. The Nanny manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
