The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hitla moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hitla swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Karlsson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hitla finds it's way round the side to connect with Karlsson's head.
A telegraphed right hand from Hitla misses the target.
Hitla throws a hook but Karlsson avoids it easily.
Hitla just misses with a punch to the body.

Hitla looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Karlsson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hitla doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hitla manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Karlsson wants to control but Hitla passes easily into half guard.

Karlsson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hitla is defending well. Karlsson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hitla has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Karlsson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
