Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQueen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Edguy - Ministry of Saints kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mark Wilcox has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQueen stuffs the takedown.
McQueen throws out a loose jab but Wilcox uses good head movement to avoid it.
McQueen leaves Wilcox with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

McQueen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
McQueen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McQueen wants to pass the guard but Wilcox is keeping the position.

Wilcox is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wilcox lands a nice short elbow.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wilcox tries to close the distance and clinch but McQueen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
