PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Camozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chap Stick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stick has chosen Bouba - Boulbi as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stick takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Camozzi lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Camozzi.
Stick takes one to the side of the head.
Camozzi throws a lazy right hand but Stick sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Stick has Camozzi up against the cage in a clinch.
Stick will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Camozzi up against the cage.
Stick tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Camozzi smiles and moves away.
Camozzi moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Stick's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Stick duly obliges.
Stick doesn't manage to clinch there - Camozzi circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Camozzi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stick somewhat.
Camozzi scores with the left hand. Stick knows he should have avoided that one.
Camozzi scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Camozzi misses with the combination.
Camozzi lands a head shot.

Camozzi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stick.
Camozzi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Camozzi misses with a series of wild punches.
Camozzi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Stick shoots in for a takedown but Camozzi shows good takedown defense.
Chris Camozzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chap Stick.

Stick closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Camozzi is trying to force a seperation but Stick has the dominant position.
Stick tries for a takedown. No joy.
Camozzi is looking to break free of the clinch but Stick has double underhooks.
Stick has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Camozzi wants to break the clinch but can't.

Camozzi breaks from the clinch.
Camozzi lands a jab.
Stick showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Camozzi.
Camozzi stalks Stick and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stick's face. Stick staggers backwards, shaken.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stick takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Camozzi tries to bum rush Stick with a series of wild strikes but Stick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Camozzi throws a one two combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stick takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Stick is rocked!
Stick looks gassed!
Camozzi drops Stick with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Stick! Camozzi dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
