PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Renolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Falko Estrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Renolds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Falko Estrada!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renolds shoots for a takedown but Estrada saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Renolds throws a quick inside leg kick.

Estrada throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Renolds was covering up waiting for the punch and Estrada finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Renolds wants to get back to his feet but Estrada is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Estrada thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Estrada trying to control but Renolds is working from the bottom.
Estrada is stalling in the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Estrada working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Estrada loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Renolds looking to hit a scissor sweep but Estrada is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Renolds can't keep his opponent in guard - Estrada advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Estrada drops an elbow to the side of Renolds's head.
Estrada missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Estrada has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Estrada controlling the pace.
Estrada's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Renolds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Estrada on the ground.
Estrada lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Renolds wants to get back to his feet.
Renolds is breathing heavily.

Well, if Estrada is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Estrada winds up and cracks Renolds with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Renolds has hold of Estrada's hands but Estrada slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Estrada working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Estrada content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Estrada uses his free foot to push down on Renolds's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Renolds.
Renolds is in a horrible position here. Estrada smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Renolds is rocked!
Estrada softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Renolds is out cold! Estrada jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
