The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winston throws a right and a left that Deere avoids nicely.

Winston fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Deere sprawls well initially but Winston persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Winston really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deere. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Deere throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Winston tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Deere is in Winston's guard.

Winston wants to free his trapped foot but Deere is holding on for dear life with his legs.
