The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Englund avoids the head kick by Bean.
Englund throws a leg kick but Bean checks it.
Nils Englund seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Englund throws a body punch but Bean moves out of range.
Bean blocks a head kick by Englund.
Bean fails to land with a series of punches.
Englund shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bean sprawls well. Bean wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Englund gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice combo by Bean! Oh, that's hurt him - Englund falls to the canvas and Bean follows him into side control.

Bean lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Englund falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bean counters with a leg kick.

Englund tries to keep at a distance but Bean has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bean scores with a shoulder strike.
Bean breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bean throws a right hand that Englund ducks under and follows up with a left that Englund also avoids with ease.
Bean forces Englund back against the cage and clinches.
Englund is trying to drag Bean to the mat but Bean just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ron Bean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nils Englund.
Englund's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bean with a nice cross.
Bean connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Englund momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
