Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Otto Grimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Otto Grimm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matt Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimm is looking to slow Ryan down with leg kicks.
Ryan walks into a straight right hand from Grimm.
Ryan throws a right and a left that Grimm avoids nicely.
Ryan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ryan throws a front kick that sends Grimm stumbling back into the cage.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Grimm lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ryan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ryan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Grimm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ryan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Grimm stuffs the takedown.

Grimm throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ryan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Grimm is in Ryan's guard.
Grimm wants to pass the guard but Ryan is keeping the position.

Grimm drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ryan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ryan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ryan!
Ryan works to advance to full mount. Grimm defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Grimm regains half guard.

Ryan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ryan tries to pass to full mount but Grimm defends it.
Ryan trying to advance position but Grimm counters by regaining guard.
Ryan wants to pass the guard but Grimm is keeping the position.
Ryan wants to control from the top but Grimm keeps moving.
Ryan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ryan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ryan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ryan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grimm swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Matt Ryan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Ryan throws a right and a left that Grimm avoids nicely.
Ryan tries for a takedown but Grimm circles away easily
and Ryan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ryan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Grimm counters with an inside leg kick.
Otto Grimm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Ryan.

Left hook, right uppercut from Grimm.

It looks like Matt Ryan has been cut.

Oooh a lovely combination from Grimm sends Ryan down but not out. Grimm dives into side control looking to finish.

Ryan is rocked!
Ryan looks gassed!
Grimm in side control lands a decent elbow.
Ryan is still in real trouble! Can Grimm finish him?
Ryan is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Ryan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Grimm working the ground and pound.
Grimm takes a little break here. Ryan wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Ryan seems to have recovered his senses.

Grimm is looking to take a break and control but Ryan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Grimm thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ryan is trying to control Grimm's posture but Grimm avoids it.
Grimm throws an elbow but Ryan slips to the side and avoids it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ryan is being controlled here.
Ryan is looking for a sweep.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Grimm bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ryan taking a bit of punishment here - Grimm scoring with strikes.
Grimm lands a decent elbow from side control.
Grimm wants to control but Ryan is keeping him busy.
Ryan is looking for a sweep.

Ryan is trying to control Grimm's posture but Grimm avoids it.
Grimm lands some shots froms side control.
Ryan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grimm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ryan dodges the ground and pound from Grimm.

Grimm looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Grimm trying to control the action but Ryan is working from the bottom.
Grimm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Grimm lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ryan down.
Grimm working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Grimm is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ryan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Grimm gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ryan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Grimm lets go of the hold and Ryan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
