The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Bateman.
Bateman on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
York throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bateman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

and York counters with a stiff right hand.

Bateman gets a clinch.
York has had enough of the clinch but Bateman keeps him there for the moment.
A frustrated look appears on York's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bateman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite York's efforts to push away.

York displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bateman throws out the jab.

York throws a good cross that connects.
A jab from York finds it's way through Bateman's defenses.

and York counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

York fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bateman to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bateman looks to clinch but York throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bateman taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
