The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zacarias misses with the combination.
Gracie avoids the head kick by Zacarias.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Zacarias enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Zacarias manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Rickson Gracie will probably get the nod.

Gracie scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Zacarias rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Zacarias lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Zacarias takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Zacarias closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Gracie! Zacarias dives in looking to finish! Gracie is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
