Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qui Blo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock comes to the cage accompanied by Rockstar. Mark Shamrock has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blo throws a right hand that Shamrock ducks under and follows up with a left that Shamrock also avoids with ease.
Shamrock could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Shamrock throws a leg kick but Blo checks it.
No joy there for Blo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shamrock tries to clinch but Blo moves out of range.
Blo misses the shot to the body.

and Shamrock holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Blo has had enough of the clinch but Shamrock keeps him there for the moment.
Shamrock tries to pull guard but Blo won't allow it.
Blo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Shamrock backwards.
Blo tries to break the clinch but Shamrock is controlling the position.

The is referee keeping an eye on Blo - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Shamrock avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Shamrock shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Shamrock shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blo as he jumps to the side.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Blo.
A jab-cross combination lands for Blo and sends Shamrock crashing to the mat! Blo follows him down to the mat - Shamrock regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Blo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shamrock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blo stands up and beckons Shamrock to join him on the feet.
Oh Shamrock is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blo misses with a jab, cross combination.

Shamrock rushes Blo and presses him up against the cage.
Shamrock stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Shamrock moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Blo has worked his arm free - good work by Blo!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
BOOM! Shamrock connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Shamrock prevents Blo from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blo wants to control but Shamrock is having none of it.
