The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
diaz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pool circles away.
Pool is looking to clinch but diaz is avoiding it.
diaz connects with a body shot.
diaz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
diaz lands a two punch combo.
diaz lands a lovely overhand right.
diaz misses with a low kick.
diaz throws a nice looking combination but Pool bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
diaz swats away the attempt to clinch by Pool.
Pool slips a jab and a cross from diaz.

diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
diaz working the head and body with strikes.
diaz lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Pool taking a bit of punishment here - diaz scoring with strikes.
diaz throws a strike aimed at the side of Pool's head but Pool avoids it well.
diaz has knee on belly and moves into mount.
diaz looking to finish Pool with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pool!

Pool has left one of his arms exposed and diaz doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pool screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
