Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Fauatea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Coleman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Got Money. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dominic Fauatea !
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fauatea throws a head kick but Coleman moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Fauatea . No joy for Coleman on that attempt.
Coleman throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fauatea counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Coleman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Coleman lands in his opponent's guard.
Coleman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fauatea is keeping the position for now.
Coleman slips nicely into half guard.
Fauatea blocking the ground and pound attempt from Coleman.
Coleman wants to pass to mount but Fauatea is defending the position.

Fauatea is refusing to be controlled, as Coleman sits in half guard.

Coleman is working for a kimura but Fauatea is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coleman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Coleman wants to control but Fauatea is keeping him busy.
Coleman is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Coleman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coleman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Coleman stands and throws Fauatea 's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Coleman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ground and pound from Coleman seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Coleman tries to score with some ground and pound. Fauatea controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Coleman in side control, throwing shots but Fauatea defends.
Fauatea really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Coleman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Coleman cracks Fauatea with a big elbow.
Coleman is trying to ground and pound but Fauatea uses the momentary lack of control by Coleman to regain half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Coleman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Coleman throwing shots but Fauatea is blocking nicely.

Coleman is keen to just control but Fauatea is a slippery customer.
Coleman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Coleman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fauatea 's head.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Coleman has a takedown stuffed.
Fauatea connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Coleman throws a hook but Fauatea avoids it easily.
Coleman misses with an uppercut.
Fauatea circles away from the clinch attempt.
Coleman swings widly with a right hand
and Fauatea counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Coleman is lucky that one didn't land flush.

letting Coleman counter with a right hand.

Coleman misses with an uppercut
and Fauatea counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Fauatea lands a leg kick that knocks Coleman off balance momentarily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fauatea lands a big head kick that sends Coleman tumbling to the mat! Fauatea takes a step backwards and waves Coleman back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Mark Coleman has been cut.
Dominic Fauatea seems to be getting the better of the standup.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coleman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fauatea . Fauatea obviously looking to wear him down.
Coleman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fauatea lands an overhand right.
Fauatea connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Coleman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A head kick by Fauatea - that's a beauty! Coleman is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Fauatea can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dominic Fauatea ! Dominic Fauatea retains his heavyweight title!
