The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kabanov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Kabanov fails with an attempt to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kabanov. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kabanov throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kabanov throws a combination. Gracie tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gracie swings for the body but Kabanov moves out of range.
Kabanov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kabanov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A jab lands there for Gracie.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kabanov looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kabanov lands an overhand right.
That kick from Gracie tenderised Kabanov's leg. Kabanov is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kabanov is breathing heavily.
Gracie drops Kabanov with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Kabanov! Gracie dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
