Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caloy Iblasin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shane Watson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caloy Iblasin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Watson!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson throws an off balance right hand

so Iblasin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Watson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Iblasin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Iblasin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Watson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Iblasin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Iblasin has escaped and now he's on top!

Iblasin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Iblasin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Iblasin throws a strike but Watson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Watson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Iblasin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Iblasin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Watson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Watson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Watson!

Watson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Iblasin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Watson but great work by Iblasin.

Watson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Iblasin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Watson.
Iblasin tries to get to full guard but Watson has control of the leg.
Watson wants to take a breather but Iblasin is having none of it.
Watson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Iblasin kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iblasin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Watson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Iblasin has managed to get both his arms back between Watson's legs - danger averted.
