Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vedin Sirovica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sirovica has chosen last mohacian as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vedin Sirovica!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin works over Sirovica's head and body with a nice combination.
Martin fails to land with a series of punches.
Martin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sirovica manages to avoid it.
Martin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Martin misses with a few strikes there.
Martin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Martin throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sirovica wants to slow Martin down by chopping away at his legs.

Martin swings for the body but Sirovica moves out of range.

Vedin Sirovica is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Martin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sirovica is trying to defend but Martin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Sirovica is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Martin pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Martin is going to stand back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Martin throws a right and a left that both miss.

Martin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

It looks like Vedin Sirovica has been cut.

Sirovica has his foot on Martin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Martin works his way back into a safe position though.
Sirovica wants to sweep here but Martin controlling him for the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Frank Martin wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Martin moves out of range as Sirovica strikes.
Frank Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Sirovica counters with a stiff right hand.

and Sirovica counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Martin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sirovica is fending him off so far but Martin persists. Nope, Sirovica circles away and we're back to standing.
Sirovica doesn't manage to clinch there - Martin circles away.
Martin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sirovica tries to avoid it but Martin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sirovica to the ground. Sirovica escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Vedin Sirovica showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Martin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Martin shoots for a double leg takedown but Sirovica sprawls well. He's pushed Martin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Martin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sirovica was well out of range. Poor timing from Martin.
