Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Per Saukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamey Jasta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saukko comes to the cage accompanied by Jedi Mind Tricks - Genghis Khan . Jasta is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Smash Your Enemies. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saukko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Saukko showed some decent athleticism there.
Saukko thows a huge punch but Jasta dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jasta has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Saukko's face.

Jasta tries to clinch up but Saukko circles away and keeps his distance.
Jasta chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Saukko can pounce on him.

and Saukko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Jasta counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jasta.

Jasta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Saukko is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Saukko has escaped and now he's on top!
Saukko stands and throws Jasta's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Saukko throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Jasta works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Jasta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Saukko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Saukko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jasta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Saukko has managed to get both his arms back between Jasta's legs - danger averted.
Saukko pushes down on Jasta's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jasta tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Saukko has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Saukko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jasta is looking to escape.
Jasta is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Saukko prevents Jasta from getting the reversal.

Saukko is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jasta can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jasta is looking to improve his position but Saukko isn't that keen on the idea.
BOOM! Saukko connects with a massive shot to the dome!
