Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Beetlejuice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Beetlejuice's choice of entrance music: This Is Beetle. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
East fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Beetlejuice shoots and misses

and East holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Beetlejuice tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. East just stands there and leans against the cage.

East pulls Beetlejuice into guard.
Beetlejuice trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Beetlejuice advances to half guard.

East pushes Beetlejuice off and gets back to his feet.

Beetlejuice clinches up against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Beetlejuice.

Beetlejuice jumps into guard, dragging East to the mat.

Beetlejuice looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Beetlejuice lands some strikes from the bottom.
East throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Beetlejuice works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Beetlejuice working for a triangle but East defends it easily.

Beetlejuice working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because East has passed into half guard!
Beetlejuice is looking for a sweep. East is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

East seems to be working for a kimura but Beetlejuice defends the submission attempt.

Beetlejuice is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but East pulls his head out easily.
Beetlejuice looks gassed!
East seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Beetlejuice does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
East content to control rather than advance.
Beetlejuice regains full guard. Nicely done.
Beetlejuice preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
East advances position into side control!

East decides to stand up, so the ref orders Beetlejuice to his feet.

Beetlejuice bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Beetlejuice trying to control the action but East is working from the bottom.
East tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
East is not content to let Beetlejuice control the position.
East is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Beetlejuice asserts his dominance and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on East's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
East is trying to get back to half guard.
Beetlejuice working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Beetlejuice has hold of East's arm. He's looking for a kimura. East seems comfortable defending it but Beetlejuice has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! East is real pain and he's forced to tap out! East is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Beetlejuice couldn't care less - he's delighted!
