The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa misses with a double jab

and Jackson counters with a shoot takedown. Balboa fights it but they end up in guard.

Balboa scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Balboa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jackson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Balboa. That did some damage!
Balboa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Jackson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jackson tries to bum rush Balboa with a series of wild strikes but Balboa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Jackson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Balboa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
