Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Page Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ryan Nelson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ryan Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Nelson misses
and Knight counters with a nice uppercut.

Knight scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Knight looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Nelson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Knight asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Knight connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Nelson some visible discomfort.

Knight decides to stand back up. Knight steps back and let's Nelson get back to his feet.
Ryan Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nelson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Knight shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nelson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nelson misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Knight is working for a submission of some sort.

Knight is looking for a kimura but Nelson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Knight to get the leverage.

Knight is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nelson sees it coming and defends easily.
Knight is trying to control. Nelson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Knight stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Nelson instigates a clinch.
Nelson is trying to break free.

Nelson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Knight throws a head kick but Nelson moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nelson keeps the fight on the outside.
Nelson tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Knight counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Nelson keeping moving, preventing Knight from controlling successfully.
Knight passes Nelson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Nelson looks gassed!
Nelson is staying active underneath Knight, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Nelson pushes Knight off looking to stand but Knight dives back in and keeps control.
Knight working over Nelson with some ground and pound. Nelson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knight seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nelson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Knight is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Nelson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
