Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lennart Albrecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Albrecht comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 50Cent - Outta Control Remix instrumental kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jack Beam has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Beam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lennart Albrecht!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albrecht waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Beam.
Albrecht throws a leg kick which misses Beam's front leg but catches the back leg as Beam tries to avoid it.
Beam tries to score a power double leg takedown but Albrecht sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beam somewhat.

Beam shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Beam misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Albrecht wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Beam.

Beam swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Albrecht is now in Beam's guard. A big mistake from Beam there, giving up the dominant position!
Albrecht tries to free his leg and advance position but Beam is retaining full guard.
Beam is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Albrecht would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Beam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Albrecht gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Albrecht avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Beam has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Albrecht passes Beam's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Albrecht is trying to control the action in half guard but Beam is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Albrecht really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Beam gets back to half guard.
Albrecht wants to control but Beam is keeping him busy.
Beam makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Beam.

Beam is looking for a triangle but Albrecht pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Albrecht dodges the punch combination from Beam.
Albrecht throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Albrecht stuffs the takedown.
Beam misses with a hook to the body
and Albrecht counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Albrecht scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Albrecht ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Albrecht lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Beam misses with a body shot.
Beam throws the left hand but Albrecht avoids the punch easily.
Albrecht lands with a nice body punch.
Beam fails to land with a series of punches.
Albrecht sizes up Beam with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Beam takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Albrecht jabs at Beam's body.
Beam shoots in but no luck this time.

Beam misses with a hook.
Albrecht connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Beam avoids the body shot from Albrecht.
Beam tries for a takedown but Albrecht sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Albrecht looks to land a combination. Beam sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Beam closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Albrecht quickly recovers to half guard.
Albrecht is looking for a sweep. Beam is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Beam wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Albrecht, who protects the arm well.

Beam is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Albrecht is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Beam tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Beam has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Beam is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Albrecht is trying to escape and Beam transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Albrecht is forced to tap! Nice work there by Beam! Very nice indeed!
