The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy avoids the head kick by Gonthier.
Gonthier tries a head kick but it misses.
Murphy throws the left hand but Gonthier avoids the punch easily.
Gonthier throws a lazy head kick
and Murphy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gonthier throws a predictable looking body shot
and Murphy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Gonthier throws a combination that misses
and Murphy counters with a nice uppercut.
Gonthier ducks under a wild hook from Murphy.
Gonthier throws a head kick but Murphy moves out of range.

Murphy misses with a straight right.
A punch lands to the side of Gonthier 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Murphy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gonthier's hands.

Gonthier is rocked!
Murphy is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gonthier had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and Murphy counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gonthier! Murphy lets Gonthier back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Gonthier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Murphy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gonthier.
Murphy drops Gonthier with a straight right hand, right on the button! Murphy follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
