Nice takedown defense from Bonaparte. No joy for Alves on that attempt.
Alves shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonaparte tries to sprawl out of it but Alves keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonaparte manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Alves moves in looking to clinch but Bonaparte pushes him off.
Jorge Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alves wants to clinch up but Bonaparte keeps it at a distance.
Alves throws a hook but Bonaparte blocks it.
A lazy left from Bonaparte finds it's target.
Bonaparte paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Bonaparte lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Alves falls backwards - clearly groggy! Bonaparte dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
