Cornish comes to the cage accompanied by Ready For War - 50 Cent (Instrumental). Kobayashi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. HBO Boxing 24/7 Original Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobayashi throws out a loose jab but Cornish uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kobayashi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kobayashi tries to clinch there but Cornish circles away.
Kobayashi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cornish finds it's way round the side to connect with Kobayashi's head.


It looks like Hiro Kobayashi has been cut.
Cornish fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kobayashi manages to avoid it.
Cornish misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kobayashi.

Cornish changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kobayashi tries to avoid it but Cornish manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kobayashi to the ground. Kobayashi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Kobayashi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
