Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Bernardes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahtava Emppe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bernardes comes to the cage accompanied by vermilion. On his way into the cage it seems that Josh Bernardes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Josh Bernardes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Bernardes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mahtava Emppe!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emppe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Emppe misses with a hook. Bernardes ducked under it nicely.
Bernardes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Emppe.
Emppe misses with a head kick.
A punch lands to the side of Bernardes 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Bernardes instigates a clinch.

Emppe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A jab from Emppe does it's job there.
A combination from Emppe does no damage.
Emppe throws a sloppy head kick and Bernardes moves out of range easily.
Emppe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bernardes.

and Emppe counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Emppe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bernardes slips a jab and a cross from Emppe.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Emppe throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bernardes shoots for a takedown but Emppe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Emppe counters with a head kick that drops Bernardes to the mat! Bernardes scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Bernardes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Emppe lands a big head kick that sends Bernardes tumbling to the mat! Emppe takes a step backwards and waves Bernardes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bernardes is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Emppe moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
