Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Buttler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Schnidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schnidt has chosen PHamous by Midi Mafia as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schnidt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Buttler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Schnidt's guard.
Schnidt wants to stand but Buttler is controlling the position.
Schnidt is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Schnidt manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Buttler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Schnidt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Buttler counters with a stiff right hand.
Schnidt avoids the head kick by Buttler.
Schnidt scores with a jab to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Schnidt wants to clinch but Buttler slips to the side
and Buttler counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Buttler looks to land a body kick but Schnidt moved away.
Schnidt misses with a left hand
and Buttler counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

and Buttler counters with an outside leg kick.
Good exchange - Buttler coming out on top.

It looks like Ned Schnidt has been cut.

and Buttler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ned Schnidt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schnidt sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Buttler lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
