With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Trent Mitchells!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchells tries to close the distance and clinch but Santana swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mitchells throws a nice looking combination but Santana bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mitchells throws a strike aimed at the side of Santana's head but Santana avoids it well.
Santana is letting Mitchells control him for a moment.

Trent Mitchells has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Mitchells wants to clinch.

Well Mitchells has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
