Rodrigues leaves Bronx with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bronx.
Bronx should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rodrigues looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rodrigues is pressing down on Bronx's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bronx is holding on for now.
Rodrigues takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bronx can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bronx had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rodrigues defends it easily.
Bronx working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodrigues doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bronx is tightening it up a little... Rodrigues has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rodrigues reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rodrigues taps out! nice BJJ there by Bronx!
