Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vic Mackey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Assis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimbo Assis acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vic Mackey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kimbo Assis!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Assis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Assis gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mackey to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Assis looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mackey passes into half guard.

Mackey stands up and beckons Assis to join him on the feet.
Sloppy strikes from Mackey. Those never looked like landing.
Assis works the jab nicely.

Assis tries to sprawl but Mackey drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Mackey not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Assis wants to get back to full guard but Mackey has mounted him!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mackey controlling the pace for now.
Mackey thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Mackey working the ground and pound effectively.
A nice elbow there by Mackey.
Mackey takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Assis takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Assis is desperately trying to improve his position but Mackey has a good base and remains in mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Assis tries to control the position but Mackey now has his back.

Mackey is cranking Assis's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Assis! He's tightened the choke and Assis is tapping out!
