The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saatana misses with a takedown attempt - Frankopan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Frankopan.
Saatana is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Frankopan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Saatana tries to roll over but Frankopan keeps him under control.
Saatana looks like he's trying to stand up.
Frankopan is trying to control the action in half guard but Saatana is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Frankopan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Frankopan is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Saatana is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Saatana wants to control but Frankopan is keeping busy.

Frankopan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Saatana is just riding it out for now. Frankopan eventually gives up the hold.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Saatana bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Frankopan is trying to escape the position but Saatana is controlling the position.
Frankopan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Saatana wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Saatana has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Frankopan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Saatana yanks on the arm and Frankopan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Saatana.
