Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ghoul Ghotha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeremiah Trout!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trout tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ghotha misses with a series of wild punches.
Ghotha is trying hard to land a takedown here. Trout sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ghotha shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trout pinned against the cage. Trout gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ghotha avoids the head kick by Trout.
Crunch! Trout slams his shin into Ghotha's torso.
Ghotha shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Trout counters with a good, hard body kick but Ghotha shrugs it off.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ghoul Ghotha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ghotha is breathing heavily.
Trout throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ghotha sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ghotha shoots in looking for a takedown but Trout manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ghotha's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Trout lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ghotha will feel that in the morning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Ghotha might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Ghotha thows a huge punch but Trout dodges it nicely.
Trout really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ghotha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Ghotha closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Trout did well to prevent Ghotha getting side control.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Trout. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
