Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Do shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Angel napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Angel is trying to get back to half guard.
The ground and pound from Do seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Do wants to lay and pray for a moment but Angel keeps working.
Do connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Angel some visible discomfort.
Do looks up at the clock and then as Angel takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Do smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Do lands a decent elbow from side control.
Do fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Angel is trying to get back to half guard.
Do scoring with punches from side control.
Do is staying tight to Angel's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Do throwing strikes but Angel manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Do wants to control but Angel postures up.
Do tries to improve position but can't.

Angel working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Angel wants to take a breather but Do manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Angel.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Do pushes Angel off and gets back to his feet.
Do takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Jonny Do has been cut.

Do shoots in and bounces Angel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Do scoring with some ground and pound.

Do looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Do trying to move into half guard but instead Angel has managed to sweep!
Angel is fighting to break Do's control of his arms but Do is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Do has Angel pulled in close to control his posture.
Angel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Do swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Jonny Do has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Do gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Do looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Do escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Do.
Angel is not content to let Do control the position.
Angel gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Do works his foot free and advances to mount.

Angel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Do here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Do throws a big right hand that misses.

Do pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
