PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Colin Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pendragon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ghostface Killah - The Champ. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stark dips to his left and cracks Pendragon with an uppercut!
Stark throws a series of punches but Pendragon moves out of range.
Stark lands with a nice combination. Pendragon backs away looking to recover.
Stark shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pendragon as he jumps to the side.
Colin Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stark fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pendragon sprawls well initially but Stark persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pendragon is looking to control Stark's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pendragon avoid being mounted?
Pendragon is pressing down on Stark's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Stark bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Pendragon is trying to maintain the position but Stark is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pendragon wants to improve his position but Stark is controlling well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Pendragon is trying to control but can't.
Pendragon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pendragon is trying to stand back up but Stark is controlling him

Stark misses with a takedown attempt - Pendragon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pendragon goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Colin Stark has been cut.
Pendragon connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Stark! He's out on his feet! Pendragon rushes in and drops Stark with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
