The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowers closes the distance looking to clinch
and Miles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bowers throws an off balance right hand
and Miles counters with a stiff right hand.
Miles cracks Bowers with a right hand to the side of the head.
Miles feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bowerss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Andrew Bowers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowers wants to clinch
and Miles counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Miles pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bowers back to the cage. Miles follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Miles scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Bowers can't do much from the bottom here.
Bowers on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Bowers is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Miles is controlling him well.
Miles in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Bowers is rocked!

Miles scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Bowers is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Miles can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
