Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butler comes to the cage accompanied by Fuck You. Quid is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Wicker Man. Paul Butler had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butler connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Quid momentarily.
Butler misses with a hook to the body

and Quid counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Butler's guard now.

Quid got a little sloppy there for a moment and Butler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quid has managed to get both his arms back between Butler's legs - danger averted.
Quid stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butler swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Quid swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Butler is now in Quid's guard. A big mistake from Quid there, giving up the dominant position!

Butler swings wildly with an uppercut but Quid uses good head movement to avoid it.
Quid jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Butler walks away with a smile on his face. Quid gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Butler on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Quid fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Butler.
