The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
frandsen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lombard but Lombard pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lombard cracks frandsen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lombard has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning frandsen to stand back up!
It looks like kaison frandsen has been cut.
Lombard throws the kick towards the body but frandsen avoids it.
frandsen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
frandsen slips a straight right by Lombard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - frandsen has eaten all the pies!
frandsen blocks a jab.
Lombard darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! frandsen's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Lombard before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
