Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dani Woodward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Blunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blunt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Danzig - Mother. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodward uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blunt.

Blunt feints and then cracks Woodward's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Woodward down.
Bob Blunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Woodward drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Woodward jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Blunt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Woodward has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blunt has managed to get both his arms back between Woodward's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Dani Woodward will probably get the nod.

Blunt has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Woodward is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Blunt.

Woodward is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blunt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
